How to download, unzip and open your files
5 min read · Downloads · Updated September 2026
Your purchase arrives as one ZIP holding six ratio folders. Here is how to open it on whatever device you bought on — and what to do if something goes wrong.
What is inside the ZIP
One folder per aspect ratio — 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:7, ISO A and 11×14 — and inside each, a print-ready JPG and PDF for every size in that ratio. 24 sizes in total. No watermarks: the faint mark you saw on the website is only on the previews.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the download email or receipt page in Safari and tap the link; the file saves to Files → Downloads.
- In the Files app, tap the ZIP once — iOS unzips it into a folder of the same name.
- Open the ratio folder you need, then Share → Print, or AirDrop the file to a computer for large prints.
Printing from a phone is fine up to A4. For anything larger, send the PDF to a lab — see where to print your download.
Android
Tap the link, then open Files (or My Files) → Downloads → tap the ZIP → Extract. Some older devices need a free extractor app; Files by Google handles it natively.
Mac
Double-click the ZIP in Downloads and it expands beside itself. Open the JPG in Preview and print at 100% — never "Scale to Fit".
Windows
Right-click the ZIP → Extract All → choose a destination. Printing straight from inside the zipped folder is the single most common cause of a scaled, soft print, so always extract first.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Download link expired | Open your store library with the email you purchased with — every past order is there permanently. |
| No email arrived | Check spam and the promotions tab, then contact us with the name on the card; we resend manually within one business day. |
| ZIP will not open | It is likely a partial download on mobile data. Delete it and download again on Wi-Fi. |
| File looks blurry on screen | Screen viewers preview large files at reduced resolution. Zoom to 100% to judge it, or trust the numbers — the file is 300 DPI at full print size. |
| Wrong ratio printed | Go back to the ZIP and open the folder that matches your frame — see the size guide. |
Back it up once. Move the extracted folder to your cloud drive the day you buy it. Your files never expire in the store library, but a phone can.
What you may do with the file
Print as often as you like for your own walls, and print one as a gift. You may not resell, share or redistribute the file, or put the artwork on products you sell without a commercial licence — the full terms are on the licence page, and personal use vs commercial licence walks through the difference, and digital orders are non-refundable, which is standard for instant downloads.
Questions we get asked
Do the files expire?
No. The ZIP is yours to keep, and every past order stays available in your store library under the email you purchased with.
Can I unzip on my phone?
Yes — iOS and modern Android both unzip natively in the Files app. For prints larger than A4, move the PDF to a computer or send it to a print lab.
Is the watermark on the file I receive?
No. Watermarks appear only on the website previews. Your downloaded files are clean.
Nothing arrived after payment — what now?
Check spam and the promotions tab first, then contact us with the purchase email address. We resend the ZIP manually, usually the same day.
